“Yesterday…Now…Tomorrow…Ever”

The first and eponymous track is full on and combines clear heavy riffs with subdued yet pounding rhythms. The vocals are guttural and do miss a few opportunities to throw in a counter or too. They are well delivered but the relentless harder style is a little unimaginative.

The songs that follow have some nice riffs to them, especially “Cemetery Park Revisited”, and break some original ground but again the vocal just doesn’t really vary. It’s odd that the thinking behind the music hasn’t seen fit to deliver occasionally contrasting and purer vocals.

There’s not a lot wrong with what is delivered but firstly variety would be good, as would some demonstration of further skill. It’s there in the music.

There is a little bit of style change for “A Good Day To Die” but too little and it’s all left to the slower start to “Inside”. It all makes this a little frustrating. There is a a good band in here and the vocals are well developed but just too repetitive in their style to carry this any higher.
